The Denver Hospice’s premiere event, The Mask Project, celebrates its 10th Anniversary in May 2008 as a month-long community event that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for end-of-life care throughout the Denver metro area.
The 2008 Mask Project opens on May 1st when hundreds of masks by renowned artists, celebrities, sports figures, political and community leaders go on display in the prestigious Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
The Mask Project is free and open to the public, with hundreds of masks on display in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center from May 1 to May 31, 2008.
More than 2 million people are expected to view and bid on masks during an online auction leading up to the Gala on May 31, 2008.
By supporting Colorado’s oldest and largest hospice -- which marks its 30th Anniversary in 2008 -- you will be helping people in our community at a most critical time – the end of life by enabling us to continue our comprehensive and compassionate program of care.
The Auction – the mask collection is available for online viewing and bidding May 1 to May 30, 2008. The public also can view the masks at The Mask Project Gallery in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
The Gala – Venice Carnival -- an evening of entertainment, festive décor and costumes, gourmet food and beverages plus a lively auction of masks begins at 7:30 p.m. on May 31, 2008 in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, 3000 E. First Ave. in the heart of Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood
